U-turning to teacher Sara, but I just got back the best teaching evaluation of my entire career. I got the highest score (a score they are told to almost NEVER give outside of very specific scenarios) in TWO separate categories.

HOLY SHIT.

#I am on a fuckin cloud right now #Oh my god #in which Sara is a teacher #Holy shit #If you're not a teacher in my state you may not get it #But they make getting 4s and 5s almost prohibitively difficult to get #And I got mostly 4s with two 5s #I'm the specialist in the evaluation program my state uses so I KNOW how hard they work to prevent teachers from achieving this score #And the fact that I managed to do the near impossible #That I am doing not only what my kids need BUT meeting the near impossible standards of the state?#This is huge #I AM what my kids need #I AM good at my job #I am making a difference and putting in the effort and making a change in the world #(I wish I could be confident in my skills outside extrinsic validation)#(I know this is a major character flaw)#(you don't have to point it out it's the trauma and the autism and the bad work experiences I know I got it)
